Climate Change Science

Climate Migration is a term for the relocation of people due to stresses introduced by Climate Change. These stresses may arise from:

  • changing patterns of agriculture; or
  • increased occurrences of extreme events such as flooding.

The World Bank estimates that by 2050 the worsening impacts of climate change in three densely populated regions of the world could see more than 140 million people move within their countries’ borders. Watch the video below for more details
